CAR Foundation funded the purchase an outdoor storage shed directly addressed current space challenges. Habitat for Humanity of La Plata County experienced significant operational constraints due to the inefficient storage of building materials, equipment, and event supplies within its office spaces. Freeing up space and increasing storage capacity helped support program growth by allowing the ability to hire additional staff, offer the opportunity to earn sweat equity hours, and give proper office space for valuable community work.
