EarthLinks is a Denver-based social-enterprise nonprofit rooted in the Sun Valley neighborhood. It creates Earth-centered programming for people experiencing homelessness and economic poverty, offering a safe, peaceful space that builds empowerment, resilience, and collective care for one another and the planet.
CAR Foundation support (2025) will strengthen EarthLinks’ Workshop Program, providing critical funding for participant stipends, materials, equipment, and trauma-informed case management. This investment will help ensure individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness continue to access meaningful, income-generating work within a safe, Earth-centered community.
With this grant, EarthLinks will expand opportunities for participants to earn stipends while developing skills through organic gardening, artisan product creation, and environmental stewardship. The funding will also help sustain rising production costs and maintain access to nutritious meals, reinforcing stability, dignity, and daily well-being for those most impacted by poverty and housing insecurity.
CAR Foundation support will also ensure continued access to professional case management, connecting participants to housing navigation, healthcare, and essential resources. By investing in this holistic approach, the Foundation will help create long-term pathways out of homelessness while advancing environmental sustainability and community resilience across Denver.
