Growing Home stabilizes families facing housing crises by providing rent, mortgage, and utility assistance. Through individualized coaching and goal setting, the organization helps households overcome barriers, build self-sufficiency, and move toward long-term housing stability and financial independence.

CAR Foundation support (2023) strengthened Growing Home’s Housing Stability and Collaborative Coaching Programs, delivering critical financial relief to families facing housing crises across the North Denver Metro. This investment helped households address urgent rent, mortgage, and utility needs during a period of rising costs and increasing demand for assistance.

Through this funding, Growing Home served 176 families through its Housing Program, with 95% remaining stably housed upon completion. An additional 55 families participated in Collaborative Coaching, where most set and achieved self-sufficiency goals tied to employment, income stability, and reduced barriers. These outcomes exceeded initial targets and demonstrated the power of pairing financial assistance with goal-oriented coaching.

CAR Foundation support also helped families navigate deeply personal hardships without losing their homes. Individuals coping with grief, job loss, and financial strain were able to stabilize their housing while rebuilding income and confidence through coaching and support. By investing in responsive, community-informed solutions, the Foundation helped families move forward with resilience, dignity, and a renewed path toward long-term stability.
