Loveland Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope by creating affordable homeownership opportunities for working families. Through no-interest mortgages, sweat equity, and education, the organization helps residents achieve housing stability, financial independence, and lasting roots in the Loveland community.
CAR Foundation support (2025) will advance Loveland Habitat for Humanity’s Homeownership Program by helping complete six affordable homes currently under construction in Loveland. Funding will contribute directly to construction costs, allowing families earning 40–80% of area median income to access safe, permanent housing they otherwise could not afford.
This investment will support a proven model that combines no-interest mortgage loans, required sweat equity, and comprehensive homeowner education. Participating families complete training in budgeting, financial management, home maintenance, and healthy living, building the skills needed to sustain homeownership while strengthening neighborhood stability and community connection.
CAR Foundation support will help Loveland Habitat deepen impact by expanding the supply of attainable homes and reinforcing pathways to long-term financial security for local families. By keeping residents rooted in the community where they live and work, this investment promotes economic resilience, workforce stability, and a stronger, more inclusive Loveland housing landscape.
